Model United Nations Assembly Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Harvey We would like to invite your school/club to participate in this years Model United Nations Assembly. The forum simulates a two-day meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. Pairs of students become delegates to represent a member nation, (which we allocate on the basis of their preferences), and debate current international issues. The aim is to increase the student's awareness of the United Nations, to obtain a better understanding of other countries, to develop and improve their public speaking and debating skills, as well as making friends with students from other schools. Our previous assemblies have been enthusiastically supported and we look forward to another successful assembly. - Where: Harvey Recreational and Cultural Centre, Young St, Harvey.
